Irish PubShow at the Main Square of Szombathely – Bloomsday
James Joyce wrote about the odyssey of the modern man of the street (Ulysses), the story of a simple weekday of Dublin: 16th of June, 1904. People in Dublin remember this day since the 1950s, they replay the events of that day, from the early morning happenings to the all-day roaming. According to the novel, Szombathely is the hero: the native town of Leopold Bloom. Bloomsday of Szombathely was first organized in 1994, and since then it is replayed from year to year.
On the 16th of June, 2009, the Irish PubShow of Firkin rumbles. Dance-show of Con-Fusion, live music dance-house, the crazy performance of Firkin and a non-eligible quantity of Guinness can be seen and consumed at the Irish PubShow.
